[et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]Today Ed Baker, a Microsoft MVP (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional), visited our offices in Manchester. We arranged this visit to discuss our current client base and look at what we should be doing with our clients over the next 3-5 years. At CCS IT Solutions Ltd we are not ignorant and think that everything we do is perfect, however by reinvesting back into the company, we can get as close to ‘best practice’ as possible.
I first met Ed at a Microsoft Bootcamp event at their headquarters in London. He was running the event and I was impressed with his knowledge of Server 2016, but especially Azure. Azure is Microsoft’s cloud computing technology and where we expect all of our clients to be over the next few years after replacing their current on-premise server solutions. This coupled with Azure being our chosen platform for our web app hosting for our ongoing and previous software development projects, we felt being as knowledgeable about the infrastructure and technology as possible was very important, so I asked Ed to come and see us.
Today we went over every site and are now ready to speak to clients individually about what they need to do for the future of their IT infrastructure. We really see Azure combined with Office 365 as the future for all of our existing and future clients, due to the amount of money that has been invested by Microsoft and the advancements of the products that give users a scalable product that’s flexible and GDPR compliant. We appreciate that other similar technologies exist like Google or AWS (Amazon), however, we feel we have chosen the best approach for us as a company with the Microsoft route.
